The Association for the Psychoanalysis of Culture & Society is an international organization whose members are devoted to analyzing aesthetic, social, cultural, and political situations through various psychoanalytic lenses. Our members are diverse, and include academics from many disciplines, artists, filmmakers, and clinicians from many parts of the world. We are proud to sponsor with our partner Palgrave Macmillan the journal Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society. We also host an annual fall conference that has a loyal following. It is a small gathering where members and interested others meet for lively intellectual debate and convivial conversation. In recent years our conference has found a home at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.
